You know it's been a WIP too long when.....

You can't remember the magazine it was featured in.....

Or the name of the pattern.

but I finished it.
I had sewn the entire purse but didn't finish the handles.
I can't find the magazine.
Anyone know the name of the pattern? I think it may have been in Quilts n More.
I have a horrible memory these days.

Hi Vickie,
congrats on finishing a long time WIP!
I think it's the 'Grab Bag', a free downloadable pattern from AP&Q: http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/projects-ideas/bags-pillows/free-bag-patterns_ss11.html
Cheers, Julia

Yes, you are right it was Quilts and More and then went to All People Quilt as a downloadable. Cute

It looks like one I downloaded from APQ.
I haven't made one yet, but someday;)
Yours came out beautifully.

It can also be found on Martha Stewart's website in her craft's section.

My best friend just came up for a girly weekend. We had a sewing day and she made this bag too. Yours came out great! :)

I made one of those a few years ago. I wonder where it is now...

The pattern for that bag was recently part of a Martha Stewart e-mail newsletter. My daughter made 2 of them - one little one for a 2 year old and one lunch bag sized one for herself.

Hi:

I made two of these this week. Love them a lot. Gave one to a friend and one for a christmas gift. I will alter the pattern a bit for me, it is way too small for me to carry. My left finger would not fit in it for me. LOL
I love your blog and as yet have not made one of my own. So, won't be elibile to win your give aways yet.

Thanks for the inspiration.
