Pot o'gold Giveaway!

****Comments are Now CLOSED****
I posted earlier in the week about the fact that I have had over 700 posts on my blog now and well over 1000 followers.  I have been waiting for the 1000 followers mark for a LONG time :)

In celebration of the 2 milestones I decided to host a giveaway and I enlisted the help of the Fat Quarter Shop, my favorite online quilt source.
With St. Patty's Day on the way I was working on a stitchery in kelly green. It's an old Irish blessing. That's when inspiration struck me. I feel like fabric is 'gold'. Then I thought.....I bet my readers do too. Why not bring that 'gold' and blessings to them the best way I know how.
Sooo.
Here's the Nitty Gritty of the Fabulous giveaway.

I would like you to visit the Fat Quarter Shop and make a list of how you would spend your Pot o'gold.
 {I am genuinely interested!}

There will be 3 $50 pot o'gold gift certificates from the Fat Quarter Shop up for grabs.

You will receive one entry for listing specific items you would buy with your pot o'gold.
{If you just say "I want to win" or 'thanks for the giveaway' your comment will not be counted.}

Bonus entry for blogging about the giveaway AND leaving the link to your blog post as a comment for me to view and verify.
{If you do not leave me the link your comment will not counted in the entries.}

Now to sweeten this week a little more.....
From March 10th to midnight March 17th you can enter the discount code
Goldgiveaway
to receive 20% off your total order at the Fat Quarter Shop!

So if you have been holding off ordering that Layer Cake of Sherbert Pips

Or fat bundle of solids?

 now is your chance to get it 20% off!

***************

*Disclaimers and Rules*
 This is a sponsored giveaway.
Anyone can use the Goldgiveaway code for the 20% discount.
You must include a valid email address in your comment or a way for me to contact you in the event you are the winner.
Entries/comments will be accepted until Midnight March 17th. Any comments after midnight on March 17th will not be counted.
I will randomly choose the winners.
The winners will be announced on March 18th, 2011 on my blog.
You will have until March 25th, 2011 to claim the giveaway prize code. After that I will chose an alternate winner.
Thank you so much :)

I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it, either stockings or quilts for all my kids .. leaning toward the quilts.

HI: I would purchase the Alexander Henry line. Especially the Multi Dot, Crosshatch and hte multi freeway in yardage. I want to use it for my bindings. So bright cheery and colorful.

And I do have B'day coming up in April. I just ordered some stuff from Fat Quarter, if only I had waited 8 hours I would have gotten a discount.

I would order some Riley Blake Hooty Hoot:0 It is fun and colorful and fantastic. I would also get a supply of Love Birds:)

Jen said...

well, I thought I had decided until I read some other comments!

This was my original list: Hoffman Amber Plum Batiks FQ bundle. Beautiful purple batiks! And Baby by Michael Miller FQ bundle. But I wouldn't make a baby quilt out of that. I'd make me a quilt because I love those fabrics!

Then I remembered Sunkissed and Sherbert Pips, which I've been drooling over for so long!

Congrats and thanks!

Jen said...

Congratulations on 700 posts and 1000+ followers! That is awesome! What you named is *exactly* what I want from FQS: Pure Elements FQ pack, Sherbet Pips layer cake, and of course some AMH Innocent Crush yardage for good measure. YUM!

Katherine said...

Congrats!!! Wow 700 posts & more than 1000 followers. If I was so lucky to get some of that FQS gold it would go toward either the Seville Fat Roll which I love or Pastal & Dragonfly Batik Stip Boxes. I think I would have to flip a coin to deside though. Thanks for the chance to win!

Cool! I love FatQuarterShop :)

I am definitely in line for some Sherbet Pips, but I'm also thinking Ready Set Go Helicopters (in brown), Michael Miller's Bicycles in Gray has been on my list for a long time, and spend the rest on some Kona Solids, which I have never had yet!

I would max out on Fandango and Sanctuary yardage, my favorite lines right now!

I know exactly what I would buy if I won =)

I would buy a "Hard Candy Tonga Treat Strips" set, because I saw this fantastic quilt in the "Once upon a time in X-Blocks land" book (the crown jewel design and make my own version of Sara Silvers design) that I so badly want to make into a colorful baby quilt, but I just can't justify buying more fabric right now XD I'd also buy some black fabric for the leftover money for sashing.

Thank you so very much for the chance to win! <3

So many pretty things, how's a girl to choose? I like Strawberry Fields by Fig Tree Quilts, A fat quarter bundle of pretty much any of the batiks would be wonderful, both colorways of the Gypsy Bandana are lovely too, and the beautiful things that you could do with the Stonehenge colorways.... (I should stop now before I get carried away.) There's no doubt that I'd find something wonderful.
