We decorate

I suppose you have figured out by now that we decorate.
We decorate for nearly every major holiday. I wasn't always like this, however, my girls have been a big influence on decorating. It starts off very innocently when they bring home projects from pre-school. A Valentine heart, a Christmas tree, a turkey made with their handprint.
You know what I mean.
Then they start to ask why we don't decorate. There's many reasons, time shortage being one of them.
Then the yearly nagging ensues. "Mom Valentine's Day is my FAVORITE holdiay" and "Mom, St. Patrick's Day is my FAVORITE holiday you HAVE to decorate", and so forth. Each holiday being the FAVORITE.
I have finally given in by now. I made it a short term goal to add a few handmade holiday decorations for each holiday.  With the Be Mine Blog Tour I added some cutsie Valentine hearts. St. Patty's Day has brought a Simplicity table topper and now a green wreath.

I used some of my green scraps from Simplicity and others my stash scraps. I have one more project I am working on from the scraps. I sure hope I finish it before St. Patty's Day so the girls can enjoy it.
And for inquiring minds...yes I have already started on a few Easter projects...well they will be finishes this year, I started them LAST Easter LOL.

I am so happy that Easter is late this year... perhaps I can get a few new decorations done as well! Love that little green topper.

I have a kit for the cutest Easter table runner. Bought it 2 years ago and never even took it out of the package. Maybe I should get started on it??

I love your table topper, and you know how much we all love St. Paddy's Day here in Ireland.
