7 halloween tablerunners
I made the tops last year with good intentions of finishing them LAST Halloween.
Each runner uses 5 layer cake squares and 2 border strips.
Here are 6 finished runners.
This runner will be mine....
Well they are for my 6 staff members.
Check out the quilting....love the bats that my quilter did.
Last Christmas I made my staff runners with a summery theme.....
I know summer for Christmas...odd
but those were the ones I had finished.
I am giving them these table runners today during our office potluck
and so they may use these throughout the rest of the month.
Next task is what to do for Christmas for them...
each year it gets harder and harder.
I know...make them bed sized quilts! ha.
what if I do 2 quilts a year?
hmm not sure that would go over well..
I better plan better for next year....6 lap or twin size quilts.
yep I could do that.
Lookie there... thrifty and cute! Love it!
I'd like to be on your staff! How about bed runners for Christmas? I've seen some cute ones out there.
I think it's great that you are doing a little gift at a different time of year. Sometimes those are more appreciated since it's really a surprise.
One year I made oilcloth grocery totes for teachers (6) - they were fast to make & everyone loved them.
Well, you've given them summer and Halloween runners. I think there's also winter and spring that may need runners. I love the bats too!
Are you hiring? And how long a commute is it from south of San Antonio, Texas? :-)
I'll come work for you! :-)
You are a good boss, and little gestures like this will come back to you many fold!
Well lookie here, you are on a roll once again! Now was iI suppose to work for you today? if so I forgot all about it but I hope I get one of the runners. HAHA nice ones and fun too.
What great treats for your staff!
I love the bat quilting! Its adorable!
Your staff are very lucky.
Can I work for you??? Love the runners!
