It's 90% done.

My Sewing area/kids tv playroom that is.
The wall unit is Expedit from Ikea.
I ♥ Ikea.
really.

Here is the angle from the tv wall unit.
Another Expedit added there and I am using the other white pieces I had from my first set up.

And the cutting table area.
The wall cabinets and ironing station were clearance at Home Depot a few years ago and so they stayed.

It's about 20' X 16' and is packed with fabric love :)
I am feeling sooo much better that it is a useable space again.
When I have a mess whether I am organizing or not, I just can't focus until it's straightened.
This is 90% done.
There are few baskets here and there that need a home, but some of the Expedit squares are empty so there's room.
Now I need to focus on finishing part 2 of the Applecore tutorial and show you what I bought at J'Ellen's House of Fabric.
More posts soon.
promise.

I love your space! I wouldn't ever want to leave, so I'd get lots of sewing done. My room is about 90% finished, too, but I never seem to quite finish the project. I hope you do better than me!

Hi Vickie, Just love how your space looks with all the Ikea love in it. I've got some Billy shelves with doors on my wish list for Christmas this year. I'm trying to be REALLY good so Santa will bring them for me. ;-)
Happy Thursday.

I've never heard of Jellen's... thank you so much for blogging about this! Wow, what a wonderful idea. As a baby sister to a brother born with DS, I understand the need for organizations such as this.

That is so awesome!

Btw, I *love* your studio area.

It looks like a wonderful place to create.

Wow! Can I come sew at your house?? Your sewing room is so much "happier" than mine. I would love to re-vamp mine but since it's technically the 3rd bedroom and if we ever have another child, I will have to give my sewing room up. So nothing major to be done here until we are done having kids.

Really nice! You have a terrific size for your studio and it looks like you're making use of every square inch. Thanks for sharing. I'm getting ideas for mine and love to see the way other quilters use their spaces.

What a gorgeous sewing/TV room. Love the way you have it set up. What Ikea did you go to? I think the closest is in Columbus somewhere?

Looks GREAT! What kind of table do you have for your machine? I need to start looking for one that is set in like that... my shoulders are getting sore!
