Luck came my way and I was able to piece the Simplicity top last night.
I don't think the picture does it justice.
Now I have to decide on how to quilt it.
Maybe a meander or pebble quilting all over. I'm not sure yet.
So today is Friday, suppose to by my day off but I have already been to the doctor and at my office being the doctor. I'm tired. Have to decide what to do next my to-do list today.
Laundry doesn't look appealing.
Hmm....maybe I should create a new tutorial. Just don't have a solid idea yet.
I have some ideas but nothing 'solid'.
I have a package from Fat Quarter Shop coming today. Maybe that will inspire me to get creative?
Sit down, relax, look through magazines or blog surf or check out Flickr or whatever gives you inspiration and makes you happy! Everyone deserves a day off!!
PS - I love your Simplicity top!! Too cute!!
I made the Simplicity table topper yesterday also but in Moda A Breath of Avignon. Simple pattern, think I will use it again. Like your green for St. Patricks Day, you will be ready for the 17th.
It turned out super cute! Those fabrics are so pretty!
well looking at that will have had to bring some spring into your life right? What do you do for St Pats? You said it was your daughter's favourite holiday. The only thing we do is drink green beer (Australia) - that's enough to make it my favourite though lol ;)
Maybe try the pebble quilting, it will look like gold pieces left by Leprechauns :)
It is beautiful. Love all the different shades of green!
Fascinating to see it go from fabric to quilt. It looks great.
That is so cute. You sure didn't waste any time getting it sewn.
wonderful, such lovely, fresh colours. I think you should do a 4 leaf clover design for the quilting... fits in with the theme. Having said that I've never quilted anything in my life and have no idea if that's even possible!
Very cute. :)
Love all the green fabrics - I like Wendy's idea for a 4 leaf clover quilting design!!
