seriously

my cats have a kitty condo that is multi-levels. They have couches and beds...and MANY quilts.
But THIS is where Little Guy sleeps....on my unfinished quilt tops.
{huge sigh}
must get out the lint roller now.

LOL...He looks cozy!

Unfortunately I'm allergic to cats! This would not be a good thing for me. =(

There are lots worse things in life other than having a kitty bless your quilts. Obviously he has good taste!

LOL! Typical! They feel they can go and sleep anywhere they can fit. Pretty kitty though!

HAH!! That kitty is adorable, even if he's in the naughty club. My cat has recently been fascinated with the iron, so my husband bought me a cordless iron with cover (so the cat won't paw it while it's still hot). The cat still wants to help me iron.

What a cute cat and fun sewing companion!

I love it, and love what I can see of your quilt tops! My kitty must be camera shy because as soon as I get my camera out when she's on my WIPS, she takes off like a bat out of ----! Thanks for sharing your pic!

Aren't pets just amazing!

I could be sarky but I'll say he's picked the best possible place to nap - fluff or not. He looks so sweet and comfortable there.

At least you only have to de-fluff your tops - I had a kitty who did far worse. I must blog about it one day...

He knows handmade is best! My cat loves to sleep on the throw quilt at the end of my bed. She always picks my side over my husband's!

Love the article! Glad to know that I am not the only one with this problem. Our cats are the same way. Especially the one, if you put anything down (blanket, coats, material, pillow, ect) she is all over it.

OMG adorable, I miss my little furry sewing assistant.

Aww...I love him! And he isn't kneading the quilt tops, just keepin' them cozy.

Maybe it's like he is helping...if you see him, you will give him a scritch and maybe also grab a quilt top to work on. It's a cat hint perhaps.

Love for the orange kitty. My neighbors orange kitty comes to my house to lay on a quilt. They just get it!

Yep, that's pretty much how it is at our house also. It's annoying, but I wouldn't have it any other way. ;)

Super cute kitty! My cat, Gary, (named after Sponge Bob's snail) also loves my quilts. I work nights and when I am sleeping, he has to sleep right on my legs or hip but the purring puts me right to sleep.

Mine are the same way. Lots of places in the house they could sleep, but if there's a WIP lying about, that's what they choose every time :)

he he he - such is a cat's prerogative! The cat whom I share a house with likes interrupting photo shoots!

Cats are so precious, today I found my cat lying in a bag which had a quilt in it that I was taking to be bound. It was if he knew it was leaving and he had to have one more nap on it. Sandra

Because they know you made the quilts and they love you.

They do tend to seek out the quilts you don't want them to be on. But they are so cute!

I have the same problem, I lay a piece of muslin over mine, so all the hair gets on that instead of the quilt before it is quilted.

That looks like my cat Arwin she and Otis love quilts. I go through a lot of lint rollers.

The pleasures of living with pussies! He's not leaving fluff he's adding texture to your quilts. Cats are so artistic!

How can you not love him.... whatever he's doing.
