City Craft review LONG overdue

In December, we made a family trip to Texas.
My sister in law and her family live in Dallas.
I went online to find a local quilt shop...surely their HAD to be one.
I was totally over the top excited when I realized that City Craft was located literally 1.3 miles from their house.
I was freaking out.
Well an unfortunate turn of events left my brother- in- law very sick when we arrived for our visit.
Since he was so ill, my sister- in- law and I ended up doing 99% of the cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids (that would include the 2 'large' kids).
We did manage to make a 'grocery' store run one of the days and she stopped at City Craft on the way.

I spent about 15 minutes there.
They had about 3 other customers at the same time.
It was too much to talk blogging, take pictures and pick fabric in 15 minutes.
My sister-in-law thought I was a freak for wanting any pictures at all :(
She's not a blogger obviously.
Anyhow, I picked up some super cool City Weekend knits to hopefully use for my most recent undertaking...i.e. American Girl Doll clothes.

I also splurged on this 100% cotton web for purse and bag handles.
Green, pink, orange and yellow....
So yes City Craft is a MUST stop if you are in Dallas. It's small and jammed packed with modern quilting punch.
I could have stayed for literally hours.
no joke.
maybe next trip??

thanks for the review, Vickie. My BFF lives in the Fort Worth area. Next time I visit her I will have to bribe her to take me there.

Love the pretty webbing! Yeah, 15 minutes makes for a quick visit. I hope your BIL is fine now.

So sad that you only had 15 minutes. City Craft is one of my favorite places to spend time & get inspired!
