100 Blocks Volume 5 blog tour

Giveaway Closed and the winner has been announced.
Thank you :)

It may be old news that my block is in Quiltmaker's 100 Block vol. 5 but I am still excited to share a copy of the magazine with you.

My block was inspired by the magazine beads I used to make as a child.
Did you ever make magazine beads with glue and strips of magazine pages?
We made tons and had a lot fun.
Here's my block:

I designed a quilt in EQ7 to make with the block on point.

There are quite a few design possibilities with this block.
Even set straight--->

If you'd like to win a copy of the 100 blocks vol. 5 then leave a comment on THIS post.
I will randomly draw a winner on May 6th.

Check out the other blocks and giveaways on Quiltmaker's website.
Good Luck!

You have designed a very clever block! It always amazes me to learn where inspiration for a design comes from. I remember making magazine beads as a kid, I haven't thought about that in ages!!!tkmattson@hotmail.com

I remember making these beads. Your pattern does look like them.

When I first saw your block, I thought how I wouldn't have put those colors and patterns together. But when you get more and put them on-point, they are awesome!

Your block is great. It's nice that you show the different layout and how it would look in a quilt. Congratulations on having your block included in this year's Vol. 5.

Thank you for your giveaway and a chance to win.
