And then there was IKEA.....

A friend and I, plus our 2 girls, set out to IKEA a couple of Saturdays ago...can it be THAT long ago? Time is zipping by these days. I have been soooo busy at my office..which is good...but I'm exhausted every night. At IKEA I purchased a few fabric items...these are my first IKEA fabric buys. I haven't used them yet...I have only been using MODA lately LOL. I hope to make my intended project this weekend..we shall see. The picture shows a fraction of what I came home with. I bought some Christmas decor, 2 bookcases, a desk chair (post coming soon) and a small table. I really love IKEA. If only it were closer.

AMEN, sister!....I went to my first IKEA in Minneapolis, MN..bought some cute glass tumblers, with frogs and mushrooms on them...made it home back to Indiana unbroken, and just the other day I broke it in the sink while doing the dishes...SOOO UPSETTING....and the closest one around here is Detroit, MN or Columbus, OH..both about 3 to 4 hours away...bummer! But I still love IKEA

from what it sounds like, I need to make a trip out to IKEA. I heard about the white sheets that I am very interested in, but maybe I need to check out the other fabric

Isn't IKEA the best? They have great things and great prices. Their fabric is really cool too. But gotta love the furniture for organizational purposes.

I need to get out to Ikea...I'm jealous of the fabrics everyone seems to be buying! Luckily it's about 30 minutes away, but I have to get through Houston traffic first!

I first discovered Ikea in Virginia and it was love! :-) I think my budget would be very shaky if I lived close to one. ;-) I've never purchased fabrics from them, or sheets~ maybe next time.
