more quilted goodness...

Today I received a call that I could pick up a few of my small quilts from one of my machine quilters. He's a local retired guy that just does it in the evenings. I havve given him a few edge to edge small quilts. This one is from Baby Fats book. I still have 2 more left to have quilted from the series of 8 I made.
This one has frogs and lily pads....

This tablerunner was featured on Moda Bakeshop by Camille of Thimbleblossoms.

I stuck with the cherries theme... this is called VERY Cherry by quiltrecipes.com

And another Baby Fats quilt.

So simple and I am happy to have them finished so that when a new baby is born I'll have a great gift for him or her. I've never really been prepared like this LOL.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Vickie! The cherry quilting is to die for! I was just wondering the other day about quilting a quilt with cherries! I have a stash of cherry fabric and I hope soon to make a quilt with it. I would love to have it quilted in cherries.

lovely colours and patterns in each of the quilts and wonderful quilting designs! That is very smart to be prepared for gift giving! I have 2 baby quilts I must make before the fall so I had better get busy :)

Fun that a retired guy is quilting! In the small city just north of us was a retired widower who tied 2000+ quilts for charity...you could even take your own personal ones to him...he wouldn't charge you, he just asked you to provide all the supplies for him, and if you could, bring an extra bat for charity quilts...he has now passed away, but he was in his 80's....

The cherry quilting is super cute! I wish I would have had that on my daughter's Mary Engelbreit quilt. Oh well - guess I will just have to make her another one! hehe Cute quilts. Jenn
