Friday report etc.

Now many of you are probably wondering what in the world happened at the Sewing and Quilting Expo.
Well Rachel and I went with my mother in law.
We talked A LOT.
We shopped a bit {no way compares to market}
Tried to take pictures and were yelled at....
oops should have asked first...
Guess what it was?  Natalia's quilt from Moda Bakeshop. yep.
There were kits. AND the shop wouldn't let us take a pic {legally}!!
however I did snap a pic on my Blackberry {illegally??}

We ate. We talked A LOT.
It was fun.
I did make a couple of purchases.
Mainly a layer cake of Figgy Pudding and a couple yard cuts.
Figgy Pudding is getting increasingly harder to find and so I wanted just a bit more before it's gone.
Yes I am a Moda manic and totally proud of it.
So the rest of this week is up in the air. My mother in law is going on Monday and my brother is coming at the same time (literally...same airport and all). Then my brother is leaving the next day (long story).
Tuesday we are off to spring break. Spring break could/should  mean MORE sewing,more pictures, more relaxing. Oh and yes my laptop and camera are coming with me....I hope to have something to blog about...since I will have a bit more time :)

Hi Vickie!
Oh, you're really lucky - I tried to get a layer cake of Figgy Pudding online...until now, I wasn't successful so I try to get used to the thought that I have to miss out on this collection (why do I always wait too long?).
Have a great spring break,
Julia

Rachel told me it wasn't too great compared to Market. Boy would I like to go to market. But where is the pic of PG Rachel?
