a shamrocky finish and small giveaway

COMMENTS ARE CLOSED
A little Irish Blessing pillow for the "season".
My daughter's birthday is March 16th and so she considers St. Patrick's Day her holiday.
She's 50% East Indian....
no true Irish blood in her....
so I have a laugh about that each year,
still... I make her these "decorations".
I don't think I will make this pattern again, it's a quick pattern but once is enough.
So, I decided to give it away.

Here is the pattern photo....
Heart Felt Finds is the designer plus the link to the original pattern in case you'd like to buy it.
It's only $3 and frankly,
I am tempted to buy a few more of their designs.
Back to the giveaway....
if you'd like to win my copy,
Leave me a comment on this post and I will choose a winner on February 24th.
That way you still have time to stitch it up before St. Patty's Day.

Fave Pin Fry - Saturday?

So it just dawned on me that it's Saturday....
I totally missed posting Friday again.
This is my favorite pin because St. Patty's Day decorating has begun.
I plan on printing this right after I post.

Fave Pin Friday #12

This is the best chicken recipe that I have tried in months.
The coating and the apricot sauce were amazing...
Just wanted to share in case you are looking for a new recipe for chicken.

My weekend so far....

We had some great snow this morning.
It was just pretty and a great day to sew.
I picked up the new Denyse Schmidt fabrics at Joann's last Saturday.
I also grabbed a coupld of spools of thread that coordinate.
I tend to get caught without a coordinate for quilting or sewing the binding.

This line is Aunt Edna and the quality is great.
The price is killer though $12.99 regular price.
I paid $9.09 a yard on sale.
Still a little steep for a JoAnn fabric IMO.
I have already pieced the quilt and it's off to my quilter tomorrow.
I will show a picture as soon as I can....
