Paper Plates CAN make me really happy..

I found that out today. We shopped a marathon of stores this morning. First, I had a return to Kohl's and that ended up costing my $40...because my husband wanted new shoes. Kohl's is supreme at suckering $$ out of me! LOL

Next, I stopped at Joann's and got the beads I'd forgotten last week to make the super duper cute Yo-Yo Christmas tree...ah so there were a few other minor decor items that jumped in my cart...they weren't on my list so i don't have to count them.

Like these...little cutesy ribbons...umbrellas in rainbow colors? they just jumped in my cart!

We bought a closet organizer for my daughter at Lowe's (hubby's weekend project), then Sam's for my office supplies....tons of T.P. and stuff. By the time we got to Target I was ready to go home....and then I remembered why I wanted to go there in the first place....

these.....

Kate Spain designed paper plates and napkins...just in time for Christmas....but low and behold as I was standing there admiring all these pretty things...did a faint yellow flower catch my eye.......

"That's odd I thought"..."that looks just like Verna" Ah because it WAS....Verna paper plates and napkins....Holy Toledo...my heart was singing. I absolutely adore Verna...and I have already made a pincushion of it. I have a table topper half done (needs quilting) and another quilt designed. Oh goodness, how will I bring myself to use them? Well I don't have to figure that out just yet. In the mean time, I'm just going to look at them..LOL

Very cute!!! Your shopping trips sound like ours. One thing leads to another and they all leave you broke!
Love the paper plates.

You could use the paper plates for holding your beads when making the yo-yo tree.

I ended up with 6 yds of the cutest winter flannel at Joann when I went for 5/8 yd of plain yellow. Oh I did get that also, but I just could not pass up the other.

Great finds Vickie! I have a big weakness for those little ribbon rolls at JoAnn's -- there are so many cute ones!

AAAA! You found them! I didn't think the Verna plates were going to hit until Spring! Target is "testing" them in a bunch of stores and I guess yours was one of them. Thanks for posting!

I must get myself to Target. I think it will be best if my hubby stays home!
