I really, really love retro fabrics. 1930's & 40's are my favorites....they remind me of the quilts that my great-grandmother made.

You had me click on each and every tutorial now, just in case I missed some in the bakeshop! lol!

I like the candybutton quilt and the little zipperbag best.

Here is my bloglink;

It has been a bit quiet lately for several reasons but if you scroll back a little (before the hols) there are almost daily posts (and a lot of the weather here, lol) (that was by request!). Hope you enjoy my blog.

I really like the reproduction fabrics of the 30s/40s.

My favourite fabric style... mmm... that is a hard one!! On the one hand I love romantic/pastels/rozes... On the other hand at the moment I am just in LOVE with Pure by Sweetwater, and, after initially not being too keen on Amy Butler's LOVE now have 2 full FQ stacks... It sort of grew on me.. In general love what Amy Butler does, and Sandi Henderson, Anna Maria Horner, Heather Bailey and Joel Dewberry.. What would you call their style? Doing a 30's quilt too, but more like a one off. So... yeah... hard question!!!

http://blocklotto.blogspot.com/

I took a break from making blocks this summer; things were just too busy, but I'll be back on track this month. I joined about 2 yrs ago in an effort to use up scraps...I'm still battling the scrap bin...I love scraps and scrap quilts. Our theme this year is liberated blocks so that is stretching me out of my norm. Hope to see you there and maybe participate sometime.
