Double digits now

She's 10.
We have 2 girls, both birthdays in March and of course only 3 days apart. If you feel like I am beating a dead horse...sorry about that.
It makes their day when I blog about them or their dolls.
I think birthdays are super important for them and to document them.
So back to 10.
Grace is 10.
She's nearly through 4th grade, smart, great sense of humor, loves math and art the best and by golly she's an excellent sketcher. I have even thought about using Spoonflower to print her drawings to fabric (actually I am really really considering it!)
Happy Birthday G! We love you.

  1. I think that is a really great idea to celebrate your daughter's creativity, with the bonus that you/she could also make things out of it.

She could have a career before she leaves school...!

  2. I think it is a great idea to get some of her drawings on fabric! What a great memory that would be!

I had to smile when I saw this post this morning...

My DD told me just the other day, "Mom, I'm going to be Double Digits!" Her bday is just a few days away...she's my Spring blessing!

    Happy Birthday to Grace! =)

  6. I remember the day I turned 10. I climbed up into my favorite cherry tree to contemplate the seriousness of turning double digits! It is momentous! What a beautiful girl you have there.

  7. Happy Birthday to Grace!

We have the same thing in my family - the boys birthdays are 8 days apart. Funny how that happens huh? Birthday season is so special!

  8. Happy Birthday to Grace! Watch out, Vickie, cause once they hit double digits the years speed by and before you know it, they are seniors in high school.

My two older kids are both August babies but two weeks apart--but my sister and I are only 6 days apart in our birth month!

  11. Happy birthday to Grace. Two of my sons have birthdays 2 days apart! One bonus with this is that, as we have 3 sons, we only have to have 2 big family afternoon teas each year instead of 3!
