I'm gaga over these, these colors and well everything remote associated with red, aqua and pink.
what's even better, I used my GO! cutter to cut these hexagons.
Many of you don't know this, but I have a "life time" hexagon project I started about 12 years ago....

ReplyDeleteHah! You should see my GFG quilt! I will literally be a grandmother before it is finished.
ReplyDeleteWell, I acutally have 2 GFG quilts started. Not so in love with the first one anymore. 2nd one, love it.
Enjoy your trip,
Stefanie
Love the fabrics. So bright and cheerful. I also have a lifetime project going on but mine is making yo-yo's for a king size quilt for my bed. I am hoping to have all the yo-yo's made by the time I retire (10 years) and then I can sew them together for my new quilt. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd to think I cut all my hexies by hand. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteTrey are so fresh and cheerful. I can see why you love them.

ReplyDeleteI have a long-term hexagone project that I keep back burnering because I don't exactly know how to sew the hexagnes the best...I tried to stitch them down to teh paper then together and didn't like how it turned out...any advice? p.s. I love your colors!
ReplyDeleteGreat colors! I've been thinking about a long term hex project. My Mom has a GFGarden quilt that my DGGM pieced and quilted by hand and I just love it! It would be cool to make a replica.
