Dessert-itarian

My 9 year old picked out these fun novelty prints while we were in South Carolina. She is focused on making her sister a quilt.
The 9 year old is a self proclaimed vegetarian that eats chicken once in a while. She calls her 3 year old sister, a Dessert-itarian because she only wants sweets and candy and rarely touches meat or vegetables (okay it's not that said 3 year old is malnourished, it's just funny that the 9 year old calls the 3 year old a dessert lover AND wants to make her a quilt too ;)
I can't wait to see what she'll design with these.

  5. The Dude (14) is also a self-declared vegetarian (nothing cooked however) with chicken fingers about 3 nights a week. We are still waiting for him to outgrow this phase (but are no longer holding our breaths).

    Love the fabric.

  16. Wow...haven't seen button candy in years. Had no idea they had a fabric print of them. Looks like excellent choices. We'd love to see the progress as it unfolds of this "sweet" project. Ps. What a nice sister!

  17. Okay, I have looked all over the internet for the 'Simple Pleasures' stitchery book and can only find it in Australia! I even searched the shop you got yours at and no dice. Any suggestions...anyone? I love the prints your daughter picked out. It is so much fun to hear about young up and coming quilters. I will watch for some pictures of her progress. It is going to be adorable.
