I have been frustrated with the Gutermann if I do applique work or use the embroidery feature on my machine & I just couldn't understand WHY when it was supposed to be the "best" thread available. I really value her opinion, and she raved about it, so I ordered a cone. She claims it is as strong as the Aurifil, fits even more on her bobbin and sews like a dream.
