City Weekend Doll Quilt

Some of you may remember that I sewed this doll quilt top nearly a year ago.
It was right after Spring Market 2010.  I used a 2.5" charm pack of Moda City Weekend.
Being stuck for time and pretty much sooo late for the girls' birthday presents...
I decided to make the 18" doll bed quilts for Easter.
Well that idea wasn't as fabulous as I imagined.
With all the 'stuff' going on in my life I resorted to using an already finished top for the first doll quilt.

I made a 'body' pillow for the head board area, 2 pillows with coordinating pillowcases and quilted the top.
This particular set went to my niece.
She loved it.
By the way, the bed is from IKEA.
I  ♥ IKEA.

Tomorrow I will be closing the giveaway for the Christmas fabric fat quarter bundle....so hurry up and leave a comment here with your guess.
There are hints in the post as to my favorite bundle ;)

I'll pass on the giveaway, but I love the doll bed! So cute. I would have loved to have had one when I was a little girl. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful creation!
