Next up on my design wall.....

Stars Over the Mountain

More Simply Charming.
This time I dug deeper into my scraps.
I even pulled some 1999- ish Thimbleberries I had been hoarding.
I tried in vain to find an acrylic template for this project is but it is slightly narrower than the 60 degree rulers that I have.
I decided to use my Marti Mitchel Strippers 60 degree template instead of making one from template plastic. That way I just cut the triangles from 2.5 inch strips or jelly roll strips.
As far as I'm concerned...it's really close enough.

Love this design. I ahve always been partial to triangles and stars.

1999ish..you are so cute. I use 1940ish and 1950ish!! that I have been hoarding. And yes they are still usable they haven't just rotted away! So showing my age. for a template, if you go to a glass place they might be able to make you an acrylic one. My hubby made mine for my apple core quilt and I have a few for triangles.

Looks good to me! I'm getting better about digging in my stash first. I haven't hit my scraps yet. It's all about baby steps. LOL.

This scrap quilt is marvelous. I am really into 90s stuff and this looks just great. You really did a great job using older stuff and giving your scrap quilt this old school look. This is precisely what I like, and am trying to do at home.
