Snuck in a trip to IKEA

I made some serious dents in organizing the guest bedroom this last week. I made time for that on Thursday...well it was really ALL day. It's amazing how time flies.
There was enough space created that I had room for a little sitting area.
I picked up the chair and side table at Ikea.
I am loving the chair.
I am planning on repainting the room and pairing the chair etc. with this quilt ---->

It's Sweetwater's Authentic with a pattern from Strip On by G.E. Designs.
I have some scraps left that I want to make into a quilted tablecloth to cover the 'naked' side table.
I will show you the progress as I get it done.

p.s. Don't forget that the Be Mine Blog Tour begins in 1 week!

January 9th
I am the first blog in the tour so watch for it.
And remember there will be giveaways sponsored by the Fat Quarter Shop too!

It's going to be a tour you won't want to miss.

Love the chair and the quilt complements it perfectly! Isn't IKEA fun? I assume you went to the one in Westchester/Mason -- that one is only 10 minutes from my house and offers soooooo much temptation. Happy stitching~

Love that quilt - I had to go right to GE Designs and look at their patterns... now I want a new pattern! Have fun with the new area!

Cool color palette. I've been looking for a chair for my bedroom (I have a great table already), and the walls are the same color blue as yours. Black and white always works.

Great chair! It'll pair nicely with that quilt. Be careful, once that room is done, many of us may be finding reasons to "stop by."
